Apple products are quickly becoming some of the most popular devices out there. The biggest problem with them, however, is that Apple products use iOS. For the most part, this is a great operating system, but it has limitations. For example, iOS runs on a closed system. This is mostly a problem when users go to transfer information from their devices to their computers. Thankfully, there are a number of programs that can help accomplish this, and one example is the iPhone/iPad/iPod to Computer Transfer program.

As the name suggests, this software has one main function, which is to transfer data from iOS devices to computers for backup. Although this program only handles this one task, it does it with ease. Users can easily back up all of the music, books, photos, movies, playlists and contacts on their devices to their computer with just a few easy clicks. Simply being able to make a copy of the files gives users a little piece of mind.

The iPhone/iPad/iPod to Computer Transfer software has extremely fast transfer times. It also gives users a wide rage of view modes when browsing the data on iOS devices. However, the most helpful feature might be the ability to synchronize files between iOS devices and computers. No longer does a person have to worry about remembering what files they have already transferred. They can simply plug in their iOS device, run this program and the rest is done for them.

The program has a very welcoming and easy-to-use interface. As far as compatibility goes, this program is pretty good. It supports just about all versions of iPads, iPhones and iPods at the time of this review. However, it is worth pointing out that it only offers support for Windows XP, Vista and 7. There was no support for Windows 8 when writing this review. This is something that the developers will hopefully change soon.

Besides just backing up information from iOS devices onto computers, iPhone/iPad/iPod to Computer Transfer also allows users to restore their iOS devices from save files. This is helpful in case an iOS owner has to restart their device from factory. By simply plugging their iOS devices into their computers and running this software, they can do a full system restore.

The only drawback to this program is that it doesn't offer any kind of service that other programs do not already offer. Yes, this is an extremely helpful program, but there are already a ton of other programs that do the same thing.
